Star Metal Art

Dear Friends,
George and I have some news to share about Star Metal Art. For 17 wonderful years, we've been blessed to be a part of this community, with the last 10 years in our own building. The friendships we've made during this time are truly priceless.  The happy talks, the sad talks and the we are gonna change the world talks at the counter have truly made so many memories for us.

Like many small businesses, we've faced our share of challenges, especially during and since Covid. As we look to the future, we feel God guiding us in a new direction. After much prayer and consideration, we've made the difficult decision to close our brick    and mortar store on December 31, 2024.

We're not sure what the future holds for Star Metal Art or if we'll continue creating metal art in some form, but we know this chapter of our journey is coming to a close. We plan to sell our building sometime after the store's closure.

Until our closing date, its business as usual! We'll continue to welcome you into our shop and fulfil custom orders with the same care and dedication you've come to expect from us.

From the bottom of our hearts we want to thank each and every one of you for your support over the years. Your encouragement, friendship. and loyalty have meant the world to us. You've been more than just customers, you've been an integral part of our Star Metal Art Family.

Much Love
George and Sue Starcevich

The Family Metal Shop

George Starcevich has been a welder since 1986. Sue was in customer service and computer operations in the banking industry since 1979.

The idea for Star Metal came about after George lost his forever job at Butler Manufacturing. George opened a portable welding business and then in 2007 we decided to jump in and try the Metal Art side of welding. Star Metal Art was launched as a part time source of income!

In 2014 we took our Metal Art business a new direction. We bought a building in downtown Farmington. We have remodeled the old commercial laundry building and made a retail shop in the front and welding in the back. Sue has retired from her banking job and now runs the business on a daily basis. We both look forward to our new challenge!
